Accountant

Position Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented Senior Accountant to support day-to-day accounting operations and month-end close processes. This role includes responsibility for AR/AP, general ledger activity, reconciliations, accruals, intercompany transactions, financial reporting, and budget analysis. The ideal candidate is hands-on, analytical, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.

This position is onsite Monday-Friday.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform accounts receivable and accounts payable processes to ensure accuracy and timeliness
• Conduct bank reconciliations and maintain cash accuracy across accounts
• Maintain and update the general ledger in accordance with accounting principles
• Prepare and post monthly journal entries, including accruals and adjustments
• Complete month-end and year-end close processes in a timely and accurate manner
• Prepare and review balance sheets, income statements, and other financial reports
• Perform account reconciliations and investigate/resolve discrepancies
• Handle and reconcile intercompany transactions across entities
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and cost accounting, including variance analysis
• Support financial audits by preparing documentation and responding to auditor inquiries
• Collaborate cross-functionally to improve accounting processes and internal controls
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements
• Utilize Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central (preferred) for daily accounting activities

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• 3-6+ years of progressive accounting experience
• Strong understanding of GAAP and core accounting principles
• Experience with month-end close and financial reporting
• Multi-entity or intercompany experience preferred
• Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central strongly preferred
