Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or related field preferred

5+ years of payroll management experience, including multi-state payroll processing

Strong knowledge of payroll laws, tax regulations, and compliance requirements

Experience with payroll systems and ERP integrations (CMiC experience preferred)

Certified Payroll Professional (CPP) certification preferred

Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills

Key Skills

Payroll compliance and tax reconciliation

Attention to detail and process improvement

Independent decision-making and issue resolution

Strong communication and leadership abilities

Key Responsibilities

Manage end-to-end multi-state payroll processing and payroll tax compliance

Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll regulations

Oversee payroll tax filings, garnishments, benefits deductions, and reconciliations

Reconcile payroll-related general ledger accounts and support month-end close activities

Investigate and resolve payroll discrepancies and employee inquiries

Maintain and improve payroll systems, workflows, and ERP integrations

Develop scalable payroll procedures and internal controls

Partner with HR, Accounting, and Operations to ensure payroll accuracy and timely reporting

Provide payroll guidance, training, and process support to internal teams
