Infrastructure Project ManagerOn behalf of our client, Procom Services is searching for an Infrastructure Project Manager for a contract opportunity in Dallas, TX.The Project Manager will be responsible for ensuring that the project produces the required deliverables, to the required standard of quality and within the specified constraints of time and cost. The Project Manager is normally responsible for medium to large complexity and or medium to large risk projects. This will include managing the governance, scope, costing, scheduling, communications, planning & tracking, terms & conditions and risk management of the project to ensure total customer satisfaction.Key responsibilities include:Defining the project requirements and managing the agreement process of the project requirements and objectives with the Project Governance Board or appointed project assurance roleManaging the delivery of the project and production of the required products / deliverables in partnership with the customer and FAI delivery units to ensure acceptance, closedown and handover to service.Reporting to the relevant stakeholders through regular Status Reports.Managing business and project risks and producing an effective plan and risk assessment so that impact to timeframe and project costs are understood and mitigated.Establishing and maintaining the Change Control (CC) for their project against agreed plans.Identifying opportunities to increase revenue and margin and managing changes to the project baseline.Accountable for tracking the project costs and supporting any payment milestones.Managing the relationship and communications with key stakeholders (customer, subcontractors and Fujitsu); growing long-term relationships with clients and capitalizing on equity and partnership opportunities.Managing activities of project resources and developing a team of personnel resources. Defining the roles and responsibilities of the project team, forecasting and establishing the project team and ensuring that the team understands the task that is to be undertaken.Complying with and enforcing FAI standard policies and procedures and working across practices to share lessons learned and best practices.Designing, testing and documentation of computer applications that FNA uses in providing services to our customers. Such as Service Desk ticketing software, Problem Management applications, Asset Management applications, Monitoring tools, to name a few. (all of which are software applications)Key measurements include:Project delivered within contractual obligations - on time, high quality and within budgetClient Satisfaction targets per client surveyGovernance, risk management and other explicit control requirements adherenceContribution to professional community through production and reusable content from other projects and lessons learnedContribution to business development thru identification of new opportunitiesScope includes:Accountable for delivering medium to high complexity and or medium to high risk projects (normally $500k project budget or more)Has ultimate authority to direct others and ensure project aligns with contractual obligations and client's expectation; commercial decision making authority within restraints of the documented FAI Signature Authority ProcessIs fully accountable for own work and/or project/supervisory responsibilitiesExercises judgment within defined procedures and practices to determine appropriate action.Makes decisions that influence the success of projects and team objectivesQualifications include:Typically 8 + years IT project management experiencePMP certification and/or ITIL certification a plusDetailed understanding of project management methodologiesHigh level conceptual understanding of IT domains (desktop, server, security, network, COTS applications, storage, database, WAN, LAN)Ability to communicate at senior levels and good commercial and influencing skillsDelivered more than 10 projects and experience of at least 2 types of project at different stages in lifecyclePlanning, financial and budgetary control skillsMust be proficient in the use of Microsoft Office, Project, SharePoint and related "Project Management tool" CA Clarity a plusExperience in the following types of projects in a Client facing role:Server hardware/virtual refreshData Center Migrations, Installations, Moves or ConsolidationsOperating Systems migrations and upgrades (Window, NT, etc.)AD/Exchange upgradesCOTS application upgrades (commercial off the shelf) (examples-Netscaler, VPN, AppSense, Lync, SharePoint)Office 365 deploymentsInfrastructure ExpansionsSingle Sign on deploymentsVOIP DeploymentsStart Date: ASAPAssignment Length: 6+ monthsPlease note that we are not able to work with candidates on H1B Visas or candidates represented by third parties.
