Senior Director, Clinical Development

PTC Therapeutics seeks a Senior Director of Clinical Development to lead global clinical strategy for assigned therapeutic areas. The role involves overseeing clinical trial design, regulatory compliance, and cross-functional collaboration while managing external partnerships and study results analysis.

Responsibilities

• Lead and direct PTC's global clinical development strategy for assigned indication or therapeutic area
• Design clinical development plans ensuring demonstration of clinical benefit and achievement of commercial objectives
• Manage relationships with external partners including CROs, vendors, and consultants; oversee program budgets
• Serve as medical responsible officer for clinical studies and lead analysis of study results
• Facilitate cross-functional communication with internal teams and external stakeholders including regulators and key opinion leaders

Requirements

• MD degree with minimum 5 years clinical drug development experience
• Demonstrated leadership of large, multi-country clinical development programs
• Working knowledge of early- and late-phase drug development and regulatory processes
• Experience leading clinical trial design, conduct, and data interpretation
• Hands-on experience developing regulatory submissions
• Ability to influence without direct authority and work in matrixed environments
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Compensation: $289,200 - $364,000 base salary
