English as a Second Language Adjunct (Summer and Fall 2026) Germanna Community College, a public community college in Virginia, seeks an ESL Adjunct for the summer and fall terms of 2026. The role involves teaching English as a Second Language both in‑person and online, with responsibilities including course preparation, instruction, grading, and adherence to college policies. Duties and Tasks Teach specific classes in ESL Develop course syllabi and instructional materials Maintain records, assign grades, and assess student progress Adhere to policies, procedures, and regulations of GCC and the VCCS Maintain current competence in the discipline of ESL Essential Functions Provide quality instruction, meet assigned classes regularly, submit required records and reports routinely, teach prescribed courses with established texts, and adhere to professional ethics in accordance with College policies.
