Our client is hiring a Credit Manager for a small, very successful, long-term company in Chicago's West Loop.

Location: Chicago (West Loop), hybrid 3 days/week in office Compensation: $75,000$85,000 base + bonus + full benefits

This is a single-owner credit seat with a 100-year-old, privately held company in the industrial/manufacturing space. It's a very successful, long-term company that is risk-averse, where zero bad debt is the standard. The book includes 30 to 50 active customers, with AR ranging from $100,000 to $30 million.

What You'd Own

• Set and defend credit lines; assess risk on new and existing accounts
• Run collections directly, working with the sales/trading team to resolve disputes and get invoices paid
• Full visibility into the AR book no layers between you and the decision

Qualifications

• 5+ years in commercial (B2B) credit and collections, with real credit-decision authority not collections-only or transactional AR
• Comfortable owning a book with meaningful AR swing, in a hands-on process
• A track record you can speak to on keeping a book clean
