Work Environment

Located within a modern hospital facility, our rehabilitation center boasts state-of-the-art equipment and resources to facilitate efficient and effective treatment. The typical work schedule for this role is Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with occasional flexibility needed to accommodate the unique requirements of patient care.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Physical Therapists to implement individualized treatment plans focused on enhancing patient mobility, strength, and functional capabilities.
• Lead patients through therapeutic exercises, stretches, and activity regimens, closely monitoring their progress and providing necessary modifications.
• Educate patients on proper techniques for body mechanics and effective home exercise programs to support their rehabilitation efforts.
• Administer various therapeutic modalities, such as electrical stimulation and ultrasound, under licensed supervision to aid in patient recovery.
• Document and track patient progress, including precision measurements of range of motion, strength improvements, and functional status.
• Maintain organization within treatment areas, ensuring all equipment and supplies are ergonomically positioned and ready for therapy sessions.
• Work closely with an interdisciplinary team, including Occupational Therapists and Speech-Language Pathologists, enhancing the coordination of care.
• Provide encouragement and emotional support to patients throughout their rehabilitation journey, fostering a positive mindset.
• Uphold ethical practice standards, ensuring patient confidentiality and respect for individual rights at all times.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The Physical Therapist Assistant will serve a diverse patient population comprising individuals from various age groups including children, adults, and seniors. Emphasis is placed on tailoring rehabilitation strategies that address specific needs associated with orthopedic injuries, neurological disorders, sports-related conditions, and post-surgical rehabilitation. Qualifications

• A minimum of an Associate degree from an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program.
• Current and valid state license or certification as a Physical Therapist Assistant.

• Ability to proficiently perform therapeutic exercises and employ modalities under close supervision.

Compensation and Benefits

Preferred Therapy Center offers competitive annual compensation ranging from USD 50,000 to USD 70,000, commensurate with experience and expertise.
