Registered NurseThe Registered Nurse is responsible for providing short-term acute care to individuals presenting to the Intensive Crisis Stabilization Center with a mental health/substance use crisis. The Registered Nurse provides direct patient care and implements treatment plans under the direction of the Nurse Manager and medical staff, following established clinical guidelines, policies, and procedures. The RN will work with a multidisciplinary team to ensure safety, promote recovery, and assist with treatment planning and discharge coordination.Must be currently licensed as a Registered Nurse by the New York State Department of Education and possess either an Associate's Degree (if awarded prior to December 18, 2017), Bachelor's Degree and/or Master's Degree in Nursing from an accredited program. Bachelor's or Master's Degree preferred.One (1) year of community mental health experience and/or at least two (2) years of mental health experience specifically working in a mental health setting.
