Certifications: BLS, Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) via NBSTSA

Must-Have: BLS Certification Certified Surgical Technologist (CST)

Description: Department: LDRP Tech / OB Tech. Certifications Required: BLS, CST. No clinical involvement. Number of Suites: 1. Common Cases: Vaginal and c-section deliveries. Manager and Charge Nurse present on each shift. Charge Nurse does take an assignment.

Shifts and Scheduling: 7 a.m. – 7 p.m. and 7 p.m. – 7 a.m. Manager will make the schedule.

Weekend Requirements: On call every third weekend.

Holiday Requirements: 2 holidays per year.

Floating Requirements: OB techs can float to other areas as helping hands or safety sitters. May be offered to float to the main OR. Radius Rule: 50 miles. Additional RTO will not be approved. Charting System: EPIC. Trauma Level: 2. Care Setting: Acute. Division: Allied.
