Job Title Biology Student Teaching Assistant – Federal Work Study Location: UNG – Gainesville Regular/Temporary: Temporary Full/Part Time: Part-Time Job ID: 298878 Job Summary Biology Teaching Assistants will support learning in biology labs by engaging peer learners about lab activities and concepts and lead active learning sessions about course content. Responsibilities Engage in weekly training about pedagogy and course content. Attend designated labs and engage with peers about lab activities and concepts. Develop and lead designated active learning sessions for peers about course content. Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Show competency in the course for which they will be assisting (A or B grade) and be recommended by their professor. Show a desire for continued learning and engage with new approaches to learning. Be comfortable engaging with peers about course content and learning. Requirements Must be enrolled at the University of North Georgia in a minimum of six (6) credit hours to qualify as a student worker.
