Diesel Mechanic

About The Role We're looking for skilled diesel mechanics, diesel technicians, and truck mechanics at all experience levels to service and maintain our fleet of Volvo, Mack, Freightliner, and Isuzu trucks—including reefer units—and to work alongside a skilled team that supports ongoing training, certifications, and career advancement. Schedules Available Tuesday to Saturday: 1pm–9pm Sunday to Thursday: 1pm–9pm Compensation Based On Experience A-Level / Senior Mechanic: $40/hr (5+ years) B-Level / Intermediate Mechanic: $35/hr (2–5 years) Earn up to $10.50/hr. additional premiums for CDL Class A or B Welding experience EPA 609 Certification Diagnostic / troubleshooting skills Shift differentials Benefits That Work For You Medical, Dental, Vision 401(k) Life Insurance Paid Time Off (PTO): Vacation, Holiday & Sick Pay Tool Allowance Union Benefits Sponsorship for professional certifications Key Responsibilities (Fleet Maintenance & Repair) Perform preventive maintenance (PM services) on diesel trucks Diagnose and repair diesel engines, transmissions, brakes, and electrical systems Conduct DOT inspections and safety checks Complete truck diagnostics and troubleshooting using advanced tools Test drive vehicles to ensure quality repairs Maintain detailed service records and repair logs Keep shop equipment clean, safe, and running smoothly Conduct inspections and test drives to confirm repair quality on various motor vehicles #J-18808-Ljbffr Farmland Fresh Dairies, LLC.
