Senior Accountant

This is anexcellent opportunity foran accounting professionalwho enjoys owningthe month-endcloseprocess, partnering withoperations, and contributingto financial reportingand business performance. Key Responsibilities As the SeniorAccountant, you'll beresponsible for maintainingthe accuracyand integrity ofthe financial recordsfor an assignedentitywhile supporting keyaccounting and financialreporting functions. Responsibilities include: Lead the monthlyand quarterly closeprocess, including journalentries, account reconciliations, and financialreporting in accordancewith U.S. GAAP. Maintain and reconcilegeneral ledger andintercompany accounts,identifying and recommendingnecessary adjustments. Manage the fixedasset register, capitalexpenditure accounting,and depreciation schedules. Prepare andpost accruals andprepaid expenses whilereconciling balance sheetand income statementaccounts. Complete monthly accountanalyses and ensuretimely resolution ofreconciling items. Perform monthly balancesheet reconciliations usingOneStream. Generate customer invoicesand assist withaccounts receivablecollections as needed. Prepare and filemonthly multi-statesales tax returns. Analyze cost ofsales variances andcollaborate with Operationsto identify trendsandimprovement opportunities. Assist with thepreparation of monthly, quarterly, and annualbudgets and forecasts, including variance analysis. Support internal andexternal audits bypreparingschedules and providingrequested documentation. Participatein the annualphysical inventory process. Qualifications Bachelor's degree inAccounting or Financerequired. Minimum of five(5) years ofprogressive accountingexperience. Strong understanding ofU.S. GAAPand general accountingprinciples. Advanced Microsoft Excelskills; proficiency withMicrosoft Word andPowerPoint. Experienceworking with ERPsystems is required. Experience with Epicorand/or OneStreamispreferred. CPA or MBAis a plusbut not required. Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills. High attention todetail with theability to managemultiple priorities andmeet deadlines.
