Qualifications:

• Completion of an accredited Radiologic Technologist program
• Valid ARRT certification in Radiography; additional IR certification strongly preferred
• Previous experience working as an IR Tech in a clinical or hospital environment
• Proficiency in Interventional Radiology imaging equipment and procedures
• Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
• Strong attention to detail, ability to work under pressure, and effective communication skills

Responsibilities:

• Operate advanced imaging equipment to assist physicians during interventional radiology procedures
• Prepare and position patients accurately for imaging studies, ensuring quality and safety
• Monitor patient condition before, during, and after procedures; maintain clear documentation of each case
• Manage sterile fields and follow strict infection control protocols
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other medical staff to coordinate patient care
• Calibrate, maintain, and troubleshoot imaging machinery as needed
