Job TitleJoin us and help shape the future of aerospace and defense.Job DescriptionThis is an exciting opportunity to manage a team of Systems Administrators in the Land & Air Defense Systems (L&ADS) Strategic Business Unit within Raytheon Digital Technology (DT). In this role the leader will be responsible for leading a team of up to sixteen high-performing technical professionals to enable program execution across multiple security domains. The leader will establish a vision, set direction, develop, and motivate the team to deliver business value and results. The leader will partner across Digital and other RTX functions to help ensure operational excellence across our classified and unclassified program environments. The leader will be responsible for all aspects of people management including hiring, staff development, training, and performance evaluations. This role requires on-site presence in Andover, MA or Pelham, NH in support of L&ADS programs. Relocation may be available if the selected applicant meets company policy criteria.ResponsibilitiesDevelop and lead a high-performing team in alignment with our Raytheon values.Partner closely with peer groups to enable flawless Digital service delivery and maintain security compliance requirements.Perform workforce planning and resource management.Assign and monitor projects and tasks.Manage and record employee performance.Create and submit periodic status reports and accomplishments to the next level of leadership.Administer time reporting, training, recruiting, and onboarding of new employees.Support career development of employees.Contribute to annual operating planning (AOP) for the team's Digital scope.Other tasks as assigned.Systems are operational 24x7 and occasionally require work effort beyond standard work hours.QualificationsTypically requires a bachelor's degree or equivalent experience and minimum 8 years prior relevant experience, or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 5 years' experience.Must have ability to gain a US DoD secret clearance; US citizenship is required as only US citizens are eligible for security clearance.Experience managing, supervising, or leading a team in technological environments.Experience with IT System Administration duties.Experience managing teams in an Agile / DevSecOps environment.Communication skills, with ability to influence and drive change with peers and leaders across the organizationDemonstrated success in managing projects and leading change efforts in a Digital Technology domain.Technical experience with computer infrastructure including Servers (Windows, Linux), Storage, Virtualization / Cloud technologies, networking systems, directory services management, and system hardening.Ability to prioritize and manage conflicting tasks and initiatives.Knowledge of DFARs, CMMC, RMF, DAAPM, and JSIG requirements and controls.ValuesOur values drive our actions, behaviors, and performance with a vision for a safer, more connected world.
