Job Title: Specialty Imaging Technologist (CT / Mammography / Special Procedures)Location: Las Vegas, NVType: Full-Time | Hospital-BasedPosition Overview:A leading hospital in Las Vegas is seeking a skilled Specialty Imaging Technologist to perform advanced diagnostic imaging procedures across areas such as Computed Tomography (CT), mammography, and special procedures. This role is ideal for a technologist experienced in high-acuity environments who can deliver high-quality imaging while ensuring patient safety and comfort.Key Responsibilities:Perform diagnostic imaging exams in specialized areas including CT, mammography, and interventional/special proceduresOperate advanced imaging equipment and utilize specialized techniques and software for accurate diagnosticsPrepare and position patients to obtain optimal imaging resultsAdminister contrast media and monitor patients for reactionsFollow established protocols, safety standards, and infection control proceduresCollaborate with radiologists and clinical staff to support timely and accurate diagnosisMaintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with quality assurance standardsQualifications:Completion of an AMA-approved Radiologic Technology ProgramActive State of Nevada license in RadiologyARRT Registered in RadiographyNational certification in a specialty area (e.g., Computed Tomography, Angiography, or similar)Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart AssociationMinimum of three (3) years of experience performing CT exams, preferably in a trauma settingExperience with CT interventional proceduresStrong background in high-volume, acute care or hospital environmentsSkills & Competencies:Proficiency with imaging technology, software, and diagnostic equipmentStrong understanding of anatomy, radiography protocols, and contrast administrationAbility to work efficiently in a fast-paced, high-acuity environmentExcellent patient care and communication skillsStrong attention to detail and commitment to safety and qualityARRT certification in Computed Tomography (CT)Work Environment:Hospital-based setting supporting emergency, inpatient, and outpatient imagingFast-paced, team-oriented departmentRequires standing, walking, and lifting/moving patients and equipment as neededWhy Join:Work with advanced imaging technology and diverse case typesCollaborative clinical team environmentOpportunities for growth and specialization within imaging servicesType: direct hire
