Job Summary:
The Respiratory Therapist Registered position is located in Chapel Hill, North Carolina. This role involves providing advanced respiratory care in various patient care areas, including NICU and PICU settings. The position requires a high level of clinical expertise and independent functioning to support patients' respiratory needs.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Night shift, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Graduation from an accredited Respiratory Therapy program; current certification as a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) by the National Board of Respiratory Care (NBRC); at least one of the following certifications depending on practice area: ACLS, NRP, PALS, CPFT, or an advanced practice certificate for moderate sedation in Bronchoscopy Lab; two (2) years of experience as a Respiratory Therapist.
• Preferred Qualifications: N/A
• Additional Information: Demonstrates expertise in airway management, mechanical ventilator management, oxygen therapy, aerosol therapy, and respiratory care procedures. May perform pulmonary function testing, tracheostomy care, endotracheal intubations, and ECMO management. Ability to read, analyze, and interpret clinical information and technical procedures is essential. Effective communication skills are required for working with patients, families, and healthcare team members.
