Travel Surgical Tech/ORT - Certified Surgical Technologist/CST

American Traveler seeks a Certified Surgical Technologist for a Labor & Delivery position requiring recent CST L&D experience and active certification.

Job Details

• Hospital Labor & Delivery unit with 14 LDRP beds and 2 ORs,
• Unit staffed with approximately 60 employees, including charge RNs, LD RNs, and PP RNs on day and night shifts,
• Patient ratios of 1:1 to 1:2 for LD and 3:1 for PP per AWHONN guidelines,
• Common procedures include versions, C-sections, vaginal assisted deliveries, and D&C's,
• Uses Beacon equipment and CPN/Meditech EMR systems,
• 13-week assignment with a 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM shift schedule,

Job Requirements

• Minimum of 6 months current CST L&D experience required,
• BLS certification (AHA or ARC accepted),
• NBSTA certification required,
• DORA certification required and must be active,
• State licensure required if applicable,
• Must have no employment gaps of 90 days or more within the past 12 months,
• US Social Security Number and date of birth required for consideration,
• One professional reference required for consideration,

• Assist with surgical and delivery procedures within a fast-paced Labor & Delivery unit,
• Work alongside a team including charge RNs, LD RNs, and PP RNs,
• LDRP and postpartum experience preferred,
