Position Overview

The Norwalk School District is seeking mature-minded, reliable, and professional Security Personnel to maintain a safe, welcoming, and secure environment for our students, staff, and visitors. The ideal candidate pairs a strong security presence with outstanding customer service and excellent communication skills.

Location: Norwalk, CT (In-Person)
Job Type: Full-Time | Day Shift
Compensation: Bi-weekly pay structure

Key Responsibilities:

• Premises Surveillance: Patrol school grounds regularly to maintain order, establish a reassuring presence, and deter unauthorized activity.
• Access Control: Secure all exits, doors, and windows following the conclusion of daily operations.
• Incident Response: Investigate suspicious activity or unauthorized possessions, respond immediately to alarms, and contact emergency authorities when necessary.
• Community Support: Provide professional assistance to students, staff, and visitors in need.
• Documentation: Submit detailed daily logs of surveillance activity and write clear reports on any important occurrences.

Position Requirements:

• Licensure: Valid Connecticut Guard Card (Required).
• Experience: 10 years of experience is required in each of the following fields:
• • Security
  • Hospitality
  • Education Administration
• Language: Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is highly preferred.
• Logistics: Reliable transportation and a dependable daily commute to Norwalk, CT.
