Catering Manager

Do you have hospitality and catering experience, knowledge about current eating trends, and have a passion for quality service? If you said yes, we want to speak to you! We are adding an energetic, knowledgeable catering associate to our team! Essential Functions:
* Responsible for reading and understanding all event work orders to make an appropriate plan in order to execute the event and its timeline.
* Preparing and storing food safely before and during events
* Tracks and monitors labor and food cost for each catering event
* Maintains excellent verbal and written communication with all catering clients
* Alerts a manager to any potential problems: consistently monitoring standards and makes recommendations for improvements
* Ensures all post-event breakdowns and sidework are done correctly
* Performs other job-related duties and special projects as required Who we are:

* Culture of inclusion and belonging Catering Director is responsible for scheduling, billing, inventory, ordering as well as working in school kitchens when needed and when there are no caterings for that day. Catering Director must be professional and presentable as dealing with school administration on a daily basis. There will be times when caterings will be some nights and weekends and will be required to work the catering. Strong leadership is required.
