Key Responsibilities\n

• Conducting comprehensive assessments and evaluations to accurately determine the mental health needs of clients and developing tailored treatment plans that reflect their unique situations.

• Providing evidence-based therapeutic services to individuals, groups, and families, implementing a variety of therapeutic modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and mindfulness-based approaches.

• Engaging in crisis intervention for clients experiencing acute psychological distress by utilizing swift assessment and intervention tactics, ensuring safety and stability through compassionate practice.

• Coordinating with multidisciplinary team members, including psychiatrists and case managers, to create an integrated care plan that addresses the holistic needs of each client.

• Participating in community outreach initiatives and wellness workshops aimed at promoting mental health awareness and fostering a supportive environment within Westland and surrounding areas.

Qualifications\n

• An independent, active license in one of the following: Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Doctor of Psychology (PsyD).

• A master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology.
