Key Responsibilities\nAs a Licensed Mental Health Therapist at Cornerstone Therapy and Wellness, you will engage in the following key responsibilities:

- Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify client mental health needs, developing individualized treatment plans tailored to each patient. \n
- Facilitate individual, group, and family therapy sessions utilizing evidence-based practices to address various mental health challenges. \n
- Collaborate with clients to set therapeutic goals, encouraging their active participation in the treatment process while monitoring progress and adapting plans as necessary. \n
- Maintain accurate, confidential client records through Simple Practice, ensuring compliance with all regulatory and ethical standards. \n
- Coordinate with healthcare professionals and community resources, fostering a holistic approach to patient care. \n
- Pursue ongoing education and training to stay apprised of the latest developments in mental health counseling and best practices. \n
Our patient population spans all ages, from children and adolescents to adults and families. You will encounter a diverse range of mental health issues, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship challenges. Your role is vital in helping these individuals navigate their mental health journeys, fostering resilience and empowering them to lead fulfilling lives.
Qualifications\nTo qualify for this role, candidates should possess the following:

- A Master’s Degree in Social Work, Professional Counseling, or Marriage and Family Therapy. \n
- An active Pennsylvania clinical license (LPC, LCSW, or LMFT) is required. \n
- A minimum of two years of full-time experience in providing mental health services to a diverse clientele, including individuals and families. \n
- Strong clinical assessment and diagnostic skills. \n
- Effective interpersonal and communication abilities that facilitate rapport-building with clients. \n
- Proficient in working both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team. \n
While not mandatory, experience with telehealth platforms and evidence-based therapeutic modalities, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) or Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), is highly desirable. Familiarity with Simple Practice or similar electronic health record systems would be an advantage as well.
