Respiratory Therapist / Registered NurseConvaCare Services is currently seeking a Respiratory Therapist / Registered Nurse to join a growing team. This employee is responsible for the setup of home medical equipment, including ventilators, monitors, CPAP/BiPAP units, and/or other related equipment. The employee will also educate and train patients on the proper usage of prescribed equipment.An inclusive, open, and friendly environment focused on associates and their successAmple training and development opportunities that foster personal and professional growthJob ResponsibilitiesSet up, operate, and provide education on home medical equipment that includes, but is not limited to CPAP/BiPAP machines, nebulizers, oxygen concentrators, and/or mechanical ventilatorsInspect, test, and adjust home medical equipment to ensure it is functioning safely and efficientlyReview prescription and patient information to assess condition and determine suitable treatment administration, compatible with physician ordersMaintain patient records in a complete and organized manner in compliance with accreditation standardsMaintain current knowledge of respiratory homecare techniques and relevant respiratory therapy conceptsWork is PRN Frequency is determined by center size and number of employees available to share
