Case Mix: General Urology (Adult & Pediatric), Advanced Endoscopic, Laparoscopic, Percutaneous nephrolithotomy, Ureteroscopy, Radical cystectomy, Radical prostatectomy, Nephrectomy, TRUS biopsies, Incontinence

FACILITY INFORMATION

Trauma Level: Level III
EMR System: EPIC
Office Equipment Available: Lab, X-ray onsite
Specialty Backup Available: Interventional Radiology, Anesthesia
Support Staff Available: RNs, APPs, Anesthesia

PRIVILEGES & COMPLIANCE

Hospital Privileges Required: Yes
Credentialing Timeline: 90 days

REQUIRED PROCEDURES

General Urology (Adult & Pediatric)
Advanced endoscopic Techniques
Laparoscopic Surgeries
Percutaneous nephrolithotomy
Ureteroscopy
Radical cystectomy w/ileo-loop conduit
Radical prostatectomy
Nephrectomy
Prostatectomy
Renal and bladder ultrasound (and with biopsy)
TRUS biopsies
Incontinence

JOB REQUIREMENTS

Board: Board Certified in Urology
Licenses: Active CO License or Universal License (IMLC)
DEA: Active DEA Certification
Certifications: BLS, DEA
Other Qualifications: Must be able to perform all required procedures; clean malpractice and background; must disclose availability and shift commitment.

Duties & Responsibilities

Provide weekend trauma call coverage (Friday 7a – Monday 7a)
Perform general urology procedures including adult and pediatric
Perform advanced endoscopic techniques and laparoscopic surgeries
Perform percutaneous nephrolithotomy, ureteroscopy, radical cystectomy, etc.
Provide emergency department consultations and manage urological emergencies
