Key Eligibility Criteria Education: J.D. degree from an ABA-accredited law school. Licensure: Active license to practice law in the State of California. Experience: Minimum of 3+ years of experience in general civil litigation. Skills & Background: Practical experience in conducting/defending depositions, mediations, and arbitrations. Familiarity with civil/consumer law, Consumers Legal Remedies Act, Song-Beverly Act, B&P 17200, premises liability defense, personal injury, and employment law is preferred. Responsibilities & Scope of Work Draft and argue law and motion filings. Propound and respond to discovery requests. Take and defend depositions. Attend court hearings, mediations, and arbitrations. Conduct legal research, interpret statutes/regulations, and advise clients on legal issues. Assist lead counsel with trial preparation and actively participate in trials. Stipend, Compensation & Mode Pay Scale: $140,000 – $200,000 per year (commensurate with experience).
