Network/System Administrator II with Security Clearance

Position Overview This position requires a TS/SCI Clearance and Special Access Program Experience. System High Corporation delivers advanced protection and secrecy solutions to secure and strengthen critical missions, programs, operations, and intelligence activities. We are seeking a Network/System Administrator II to help organize, install, and support government organizations' computer systems, including LANs, WANs, network segments, intranets, and other data communication systems. The role also involves helping architect, design, and analyze network models, and participating in decisions about future hardware or software upgrades. Responsibilities Operate under minimal supervision. Execute day-to-day management and operations of systems and networks. Manage COTS & GOTS products to collect, display, and remediate a variety of automated system security and performance metrics. Follow Operations and Maintenance (O&M) checklists to maintain the service (daily, weekly, monthly, yearly) and build Tactics, Techniques, and Processes (TTPs) and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) associated with service checklists. Operate monitoring tools with SIEM to create and tailor complex event alarms/rules and summary reports. Assist in analyzing technical risk of emerging cybersecurity tools and processes. Work as part of a security incident response team as needed. Provide day-to-day support for Collateral, SCI, and SAP activities. Perform general technical support for computer users to help solve users' problems. Use and support platforms such as Microsoft Windows Server, Red Hat Enterprise Linux, Hyper‑V/VMWare/ESXi/Xen, networking/firewalls/IDS/IPS, forensic analysis, vulnerability assessment, Group Policy, scripting, BMC Footprints, WSUS, Lumension, Bitlocker, SQL Server, TomCat, IIS, and related software. Operate toolkits, SEIMs, LogRhythm, ACAS/Nessus/SCAP, mandatory/role‑based access control concepts (SE Linux extensions to RHEL, PitBull, AppArmor, Sentris), video teleconferencing/VoIP, Oracle/MS SQL database security, and Apache/IIS web server security. Qualifications Current Top‑Secret Clearance with SCI eligibility. Eligibility for access to Special Access Program Information. Willingness to submit to a counter‑intelligence polygraph. Working knowledge of Microsoft Windows desktop and server operating systems, Microsoft Exchange Server, and RHEL administration. Working knowledge of Cisco networking, switching, and virtualization technologies. Working knowledge of LAN and WAN technologies and data backup technologies. Working knowledge of COMSEC policies and integration. Working knowledge of the Risk Management Framework, Common Criteria, and System Security Policy as they relate to assessments and authorizations. Working knowledge of PL2 and PL3 network environments/systems. Experience providing technical support in a customer‑service role. Experience applying industry standards and best practices in an enterprise‑level Windows system environment. Experience solving technical problems quickly and automating repetitive processes. Working knowledge of WSUS and/or YUM patch deployment methodologies. Familiarity with DoD policy as it applies to implementing and executing system and network administration. Ability to regularly lift up to 50 lbs. Experience and Education 3–5 years of related experience. Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience (4 years). Certifications Must meet DoD Directive 8570.01‑M requirements for Information Assurance Technician Level 2 within 6 months of hire.
