Job Duties: Maintains a regular and effective housekeeping and sanitation program that meets the standards by the department and all-applicable health regulations and UDA guidelines. Cleans and sanitizes all Smokehouse areas, equipment and fixtures in the manner established by all applicable health regulations. Occasional use of a scissors lift to clean high reaching areas in the facility. Monitor inventory of cleaning supplies and chemicals. Inform direct supervisor of any low inventory. Proper use of the company’s HAZCOM (Hazard Communications) program in order to safely and properly use all solutions and chemicals for cleaning. Ensures that proper dilution mixtures or ratios are used when preparing sanitizing solutions. Performs other duties as assigned in a manner safe to self and others.
