Accounting Assistant (AP&AR) – Japanese Bilingual Japanese/English bilingual is a MUST. Position: Accounting Assistant – Japanese Bilingual Employment Type: Full-time, Permanent Salary Range: $58,000 – $60,000/year (DOE) Work Style: Hybrid (Approximately 1–2 days remote per week, subject to change) Working Hours: 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM or 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM (including a 1-hour paid lunch break) Position Summary Our client is seeking a detail-oriented Accounting Assistant to support daily accounting and administrative operations. This is an entry-level opportunity, and prior accounting experience is not required. The primary responsibilities include invoice processing, data entry, and basic Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) support. The ideal candidate is organized, accurate, and comfortable working in both Japanese and English. Key Responsibilities Enter and process invoices and accounting data. Assist with Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) tasks. Maintain accurate financial records and documentation. Perform general data entry and administrative support. Assist with reception and general office duties as needed. Support other accounting-related tasks as assigned. Qualifications Japanese/English bilingual skills required. Entry-level candidates are welcome; accounting experience is not required. Basic office experience preferred. Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Good communication skills and ability to work as part of a team.
