ProCare Therapy is actively seeking a dedicated School Psychologist for a full-time, school-based contract position with a supportive school district in Sugar Land, Texas . Position Overview

The School Psychologist will provide comprehensive psychological services that support students' academic achievement, social-emotional development, and overall well-being. This district utilizes a workload model rather than a traditional caseload model , allowing for a balanced and effective approach to service delivery.

Position Details

• Location: Sugar Land, TX

• Hours: 37.5 hours per week
• Setting: School-Based
• Service Model: Hybrid Opportunity with 1 guaranteed remote workday per week
• School Assignments: Servicing 2-3 schools while being housed at the district's central office
• Counseling Responsibilities: Not required, as the district employs LPCs to provide counseling services

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct psychoeducational and behavioral evaluations
• Interpret assessment data and provide clear, actionable recommendations
• Participate in IEP, eligibility, and multidisciplinary team meetings
• Support the development and implementation of academic and behavioral interventions
• Consult and collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families
• Assist with crisis intervention and student support initiatives as needed
• Maintain accurate documentation in compliance with state and district regulations
• Uphold ethical and professional standards of practice

Qualifications

• Master's or Doctoral Degree in School Psychology
• Active or eligible Texas School Psychologist certification/licensure
• Prior school-based experience preferred
• New graduates are encouraged to apply

• Ability to effectively manage responsibilities across multiple school sites
