Accounts Payable Specialist (Contract-to-Hire Position)

Canton, OH

Up to $22/hour

LHH is partnering with a growing company in Canton, Ohio to hire an Accounts Payable Specialist . This immediate-start contract-to-hire opportunity is ideal for candidates with experience in accounts payable, invoice processing, vendor payments, and account reconciliations. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized, and able to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a high level of accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Process high-volume invoices accurately and in a timely manner
• Review and verify invoices for proper approval and coding
• Prepare and process vendor payments
• Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies
• Maintain accurate accounts payable records and documentation
• Communicate with vendors regarding payment inquiries
• Assist with month-end closing activities
• Support the accounting team with additional duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Previous experience in Accounts Payable or related accounting functions
• Strong knowledge of invoice processing and account reconciliations
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to research and resolve discrepancies independently
• Strong communication and problem-solving abilities
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
