Executive Director, Commercial Decision Sciences

For our client, we are seeking an Executive Director Commercial Decision Sciences to join the team of a leader in the Pharmaceuticals & Biotech space. This role will turn data into practical insight that improves visibility, decision‑making, and business performance. You will partner with business, technical, and operational stakeholders to build reporting, surface trends, and translate analysis into action. The position offers the opportunity to strengthen data‑driven execution and help teams focus on the metrics that matter most within a life sciences environment. Location: Thousand Oaks, CA – US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available Compensation: $255,082 – $345,112 annually Responsibilities Lead a team of over 20 members and oversee additional indirect reports in global locations Advocate for innovative data sources and analyze commercial investment effectiveness Translate complex data insights into actionable commercial strategies Establish performance goals and analytics roadmaps to support business objectives Collaborate with senior leadership across various functions on analytics solutions Design and implement media measurement methodologies across channels Drive the culture of continuous learning and optimization within the team Qualifications Doctorate degree & 6 years of decision science experience, or Master's degree & 10 years of decision science experience, or Bachelor's degree & 12 years of decision science experience 6 years of managerial experience in a relevant field Proven experience in leading high‑performing teams and projects Benefits Comprehensive employee benefits package including medical, dental, and vision coverage 401(k) Retirement and Savings Plan with generous company contributions Discretionary annual bonus and stock‑based long‑term incentives Award‑winning time‑off plans and remote work flexibility options Commitment to employee growth and career development opportunities Our client is an equal opportunity employer.
