Bowie County Jail – Texarkana, TX Employment Type: Full-Time | On-Site

TK Health is seeking a motivated and experienced Nurse Practitioner (NP) to join our clinical team at the Bowie County Jail in Texarkana, Texas. This full-time, in-person role offers the opportunity to deliver comprehensive patient care in a structured, secure correctional healthcare environment.

As an NP with TK Health, you will practice at the top of your license while gaining broad clinical experience across acute, chronic, and preventive care.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide primary and urgent care services to incarcerated patients
• Assess, diagnose, and manage acute and chronic medical conditions
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare and custody teams
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
• Adhere to all facility, state, and federal healthcare regulations

Schedule:

• Monday through Friday
• On-site, full-time

Qualifications:

• Active, unrestricted Nurse Practitioner (NP) license
• Ability to pass a comprehensive background check
• Correctional healthcare experience preferred, but not required
