Our outpatient office is equipped with the necessary tools and technology to facilitate efficient counseling sessions. Key Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive assessments to diagnose mental health conditions, monitor client progress, and refine treatment strategies accordingly. Deliver insightful individual therapy sessions utilizing a range of evidence-based therapeutic techniques, such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and solution-focused therapy, to promote client growth and empowerment. Collaboratively define therapeutic goals with clients, ensuring they are actively involved in their treatment plans and progress evaluations. Facilitate teletherapy sessions for clients who may face mobility or transportation challenges, ensuring accessibility of care. Maintain meticulous documentation of client interactions and treatment plans to uphold ethical standards and compliance with state regulations. Engage in ongoing professional development and training to enhance your clinical expertise and stay abreast of the latest advancements in mental health care. Patient Population / Client Focus You will work with a diverse clientele experiencing a range of mental health challenges, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship issues. Our clients vary in age and background, allowing for a rich therapeutic experience as you adapt your approach based on individual needs and circumstances. Qualifications A current and valid license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in the state of Virginia. A Master’s Degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a related field is required. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to create a safe and trusting therapeutic relationship with clients. Demonstrated sensitivity and nonjudgmental attitude towards clients of diverse backgrounds and experiences. Strong organizational and time management skills to effectively handle case loads and administrative responsibilities. Preferred Experience A minimum of 2 years of experience in a clinical setting, preferably focusing on marriage and family therapy. Experience in conducting teletherapy and utilizing digital platforms for client sessions. Familiarity with evidence-based treatment methods, and a passion for remaining current with the latest research in mental health. Compensation and Benefits Annual salary range of USD 70,000 – 100,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
