Position Overview BJC HealthCare System is hiring a Full‑Time Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) for Memorial Hospital (Belleville, IL). Overview Memorial Hospital Belleville is an acute care hospital offering medical and surgical services plus critical and emergency care, including pediatric emergency services. Memorial is an accredited Chest Pain Center with PCI and a Magnet‑recognized organization for nursing excellence. Role Purpose The Cardiac Sonographer performs a variety of cardiac testing, including treadmill stress testing, holter monitoring, transthoracic echocardiography, transesophageal echo, stress echo and cardiac doppler. Responsibilities Performs tests and procedures at various locations. Maintains accurate patient logs and cardiac lab patient files. Updates daily charges and utilizes cardiac lab menus in the computer. Minimum Requirements Education: High School Diploma or GED; preference for Associate’s Degree in Allied Health/Sonography. Experience: No experience required. Licenses & Certifications: RDCS or equivalent; Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation.
