Job Description
Title: Registered Nurse - Acute Care

Schedule:
- Orientation: 12 hours
- Weekend requirement: 2 weekends out of 4 off (weekend = 2 consecutive days Fri-Sun)
- Call: required for low census
- Holidays: must be willing to work 2 of 3 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year)

Requirements:
- Minimum 1 year RN experience
- BLS, ACLS, PALS certifications required
- Experience with ventilator management, dysrhythmia interpretation/management, and central line/PICC/port management necessary.
- Proficiency in blood product administration, IV start/maintenance, and phlebotomy.
- Familiarity with Epic charting system required.

Roles & Responsibilities:
- Provide patient-centered care for adults and geriatrics in an acute care setting.
- Monitor and manage patients on ventilators and administer respiratory therapies.
- Titrate vasoactive/cardiac drips and maintain continuous IV sedation.
- Assist with chest tube placements and manage BiPAP/CPAP.
- Interpret and manage dysrhythmias and provide care for strokes and respiratory/renal failure.

Compliance / Notes:
- Pending license accepted.
- RTO and references must be provided at submission.
- Dress code: scrubs or business casual.
- Copy of certifications required for compliance.
