Pay Rate: $34.70 - $35.70 / Hour

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to passengers, visitors, and personnel while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities at public transportation facilities.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of transit stations, platforms, entrances, parking areas, and surrounding perimeters to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, medical emergencies, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established procedures and contacting appropriate emergency personnel when needed.
• Operate and maintain authorized duty equipment in accordance with applicable laws, licensing requirements, post orders, and Allied Universal policies.
• Document incidents, observations, and patrol activities accurately and communicate relevant information to supervisors and designated transit personnel.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess a valid Law Enforcement Officer License.
• An Armed Guard Card/License is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
