About us
Elite Towing & Recovery is a locally owned Oregon towing and recovery company operating 24/7 across the Portland metro area. We have about 30 employees and three related companies. We're growing, and we need someone to own our books.

What you'll do
- Keep the books for three related companies in QuickBooks Online
- Reconcile bank and credit card accounts every month
- Run accounts receivable: post payments, match insurance and motor-club payments to invoices, follow up on past-due accounts
- Run accounts payable: enter bills, prepare payment runs, track due dates
- Record payroll from ADP and reconcile it
- Close each month and deliver a P&L, balance sheet and aging reports
- Bring prior months up to date where the books are behind
- Work with our billing, dispatch and payroll staff and our outside CPA

What you need
- 2+ years of full-cycle bookkeeping (A/R, A/P, reconciliations, month-end close)
- Daily, hands-on QuickBooks Online experience
- Comfort with Excel or Google Sheets
- Accurate, organized, and willing to ask questions instead of guessing

Nice to have
- Books for more than one company at a time
- Cleanup or catch-up projects
- Towing, automotive, trucking, or insurance-billing experience
- Experience with Towbook or ADP

Schedule: Full-time, Monday-Friday days, onsite in SE Portland.
Pay: $28-$34/hour, based on experience.
