Job Title: Pre-Sale Studio Sales & Marketing Manager

Position Type: Full-Time, Salaried 

Reports To: Franchise Owner

Position Overview: The Pre-Sale Studio Sales & Marketing Manager is a sales-driven leader responsible for selling memberships, generating leads, and building sales momentum and brand visibility prior to the official opening of a beem® Light Sauna studio. This role is exclusively focused on pre-sale sales execution, lead generation, and grassroots marketing. The Manager owns the full pre-sale strategy—from community partnerships and local activations to direct selling and CRM follow-up—with full accountability for achieving aggressive founding membership targets.

This position is structured as a build-first leadership opportunity. The immediate focus is membership sales and marketing activation. Upon successful completion of the pre-sale phase and transition into the grand opening, the role is designed to evolve into a full Studio Manager leadership role, expanding into recruiting and developing staff, overseeing studio operations, and driving long-term performance and profitability.

Core Responsibilities:

• Sales Leadership & Revenue Generation: Own and achieve all pre-sale membership targets prior to studio opening. Personally generate and close founding memberships through in-person, phone, digital, and event-based selling. Build and manage the full sales funnel: lead capture, CRM tracking, follow-up cadence, objection handling, closing, and payment collection.

• Lead Generation & Outreach: Responsible for lead generation via grassroots marketing, community activations, and event planning and attendance. Drive local outreach including chamber engagement, corporate sales outreach, apartment partnerships, and wellness collaborations. Secure strategic B2B referral relationships prior to opening.

• Communication: Execute inbound and outbound communication via phone call, SMS, email, and social media messaging to manage lead capture systems, execute follow-up campaigns, and ensure seamless entry into CRM platforms.

• Pre-Studio Revenue Driving Activities: Execute structured pre-sale campaigns including limited-time founding offers and urgency-driven promotions. Coordinate off-site promotional activations and pop-up events to collect leads and build brand awareness.

• Client Experience & Retention: Lay the groundwork for long-term member retention through pre-opening events, consistent communication, and additional tactics designed to build brand loyalty before the doors officially open.

• Performance Tracking: Track marketing ROI and adjust outreach strategies to maximize cost per acquisition. Track and report KPIs including leads generated, appointments set, appointments held, conversion rate, and revenue collected, providing consistent pipeline visibility to the Franchise Owner.

Traits for Success:

• 2+ years of sales experience, preferably in fitness, wellness, or service-based industries.

• Proven ability to independently generate leads, manage structured pipeline/CRM systems, and close new business.

• Strong B2B networking and partnership development skills.

• Highly self-motivated, disciplined, and goal-oriented professional who thrives in a startup-style environment.

• Confident communicator with strong objection-handling skills and the ability to represent the beem® brand professionally in all community interactions.

Physical Requirements:

• Must be able to handle high temperatures above 135 degrees for short periods of time.

• Must be able to stand for an extended period of time.

• Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds.

• Must be able to maintain clean saunas for members, which involves getting in and out of the sauna and reaching overhead to adjust settings.

• Must be able to bend, kneel, and squat to access and adjust the saunas as needed.
