Job Title: RN MS/Tele (Ortho) Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: MS/Tele Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night 4x12-Hour Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: 1 year required License: Active state or multistate license required Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS required Must-Have: 1 year of EPIC experience required Description: We are seeking a qualified Registered Nurse for a Medical/Surgical Telemetry unit specializing in orthopedic care. The role involves managing patient care for individuals post-operative spinal surgeries. Candidates must have experience in orthopedic nursing. A patient-to-nurse ratio of 1:5-6 is expected. The unit cares for a diverse patient population, including those with medical/surgical, cardiac, and neurological diagnoses. Special procedures performed in this unit include bedside lumbar punctures and post-surgical care. Floating to other units may be required based on patient needs. Our team includes a range of interdisciplinary support services to enhance patient care. Nursing staff will be responsible for the assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care. A commitment to high standards of patient care and teamwork is essential.
