Key Responsibilities\n

In this role, you will work directly with individuals, couples, and families, implementing evidence-based therapeutic strategies to address a range of issues. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

• Conducting thorough assessments of clients’ emotional and relational histories to develop personalized treatment plans.
\n
• Facilitating therapy sessions with couples and families, as well as individual counseling sessions as needed.
\n
• Addressing complex issues such as alcohol abuse, physical/psychological abuse, grief and loss, familial conflicts, and other relationships dynamics.
\n
• Utilizing therapeutic methodologies such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), and other techniques tailored to the specific needs of your clients.
\n
• Maintaining accurate and timely documentation of client progress and treatment outcomes in compliance with state regulatory standards.
\n
• Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team of therapists and healthcare professionals to enhance client care.
\n

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Our therapists work with a diverse clientele, including individuals, couples, and families facing challenges related to:

• Alcohol and substance abuse

• Trauma and abuse (physical and psychological)
\n
• Grief and loss
\n
• Communication issues
\n
• Family conflicts and sibling rivalry

• Adjustment disorders, including separation and divorce

Qualifications\n

To be successful in this position, applicants must meet the following qualifications:

• Current and active state license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT).
\n
• A Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a closely related field.
\n
• Strong background in providing individual and family therapy in an outpatient setting.
\n
• Proficient in using technology for remote therapy sessions and document management.
\n

Preferred Experience\n

While not mandatory, the following experiences are preferred:

• A minimum of two years of experience in a behavioral health therapeutic setting.

• Demonstrated success in managing diverse client populations.
\n
• Experience with telehealth modalities and digital health platforms.

Compensation and Benefits\n

Harbor Therapy Center offers a competitive salary ranging from USD 75,000 to 100,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications. Benefits include:
