Respiratory Therapist Responsibilities include: The Respiratory Therapist is responsible for overseeingrespiratory care under the orders of the Medical Director. The RT is responsiblefor completion of all documentation, communication, maintenance of respiratoryequipment and continuing training and competency of staff related torespiratory needs of residents, including those receiving ventilator support.
