This local Convenience Store is looking for a General Manager to help lead daily operations, drive results, and support a positive employee and customer experience.Job Summary: The Store manager is responsible for day to day store operations, including scheduling, training, and supervising employees and assistant manager. The Store manager is responsible for the store profits, and all controllable expenses including labor, inventory levels, and cash and inventory shortages.List of Responsibilities (Note: This is not intended to be a complete list. Functions listed may be modified to fit business needs)Recruit, hire, and train employees to become strong team members, ensuring excellent customer serviceSupport, encourage, and challenge all employees for growth and success.Resolve and/or escalate customer complaints, in a timely and professional mannerImplement and enforce established daily operating procedures to ensure store is clean, adequately stocked, organized, and well keptEnsure all merchandise is stocked and displays are attractive, priced correctly, and displayed in a safe manner.Create effective orders to help keep products in stockMaintain quality fuel brand image standardsIn a consistent and professional manner, supervise and discipline all store employees according to company policy.Monitor daily retail gasoline competitors and sending the prices to the corporate office in a timely manner as established by managementMeet paperwork and computer entry deadlines for C-Store locations, Payroll and Human Resources as established by each department.Create employee schedules, monitor and edit electronic timecards throughout the week; approve timecards weekly by the designated deadline.Monitor cash overages/shortages, inventory shrinkage, and drive-offs daily.Conduct Store meetings as needed with employeesHave the physical ability to perform all duties of the Assistant Manager and a store cashierUnderstand all information in the daily reporting of store operationsFollow and enforce all Company Policies and Established Procedures in the store OperationsImplement monthly promotions, insure all POS advertising/signage is properly posted at the proper time.Communicate any problems with merchandise pricing to the Price Book CoordinatorImplement and enforce all merchandising and vendor policies and proceduresEnforce all Safety and Security Issues and report any and all unsafe conditionsFollow company procedures to report and process required communications and paperwork concerning all employee and/ or customer incidents or accidentsWhy Join Buck Management Corporation?We're more than a convenience store— we're a team that values reliability, service, and growth. Post-high school education in the field of hospitality or restaurant experience preferred.Minimum Age requirements: 18 yearsThis position requires repetitive motions and the ability to lift or push objects weighing up to 50 lbsProfessional demeanor in supervising employees and supporting customer needs required.Ability to multi-task recommendedAbility to work 10-hour shifts five days weeklyFlexibility in schedule with availability to open or close and run shifts without supervision requiredAbility to stand long term, bend to clean and/or stock and lift products up to 50 lbsKnowledge of Federal and State Employment Laws.Background Check Required
