Location: Virginia Beach, VA (Dam Neck)

SUMMARY: WR is seeking a highly motivated Material Coordinator to provide Government site support for material management, equipment tracking, inventory control, and logistics operations.


Position responsibilities will include, but are not limited to the following:

• Support Government site logistics activities, including:
  
  • Shipping and receiving of materials and equipment
  • Material movement and distribution
  • Equipment tracking, accountability, and status reporting
  • International shipping coordination and Customs clearance processing
  • Inventory records management and reconciliation
  
  
  
• Process and maintain DD-1149 documentation and related shipping records.
• Coordinate material deliveries and ensure timely movement of equipment and supplies.
• Maintain accurate inventory databases and support inventory audits.
• Assist with material receipt inspections and verification of shipment documentation.
• Coordinate with Government and contractor personnel to support logistics and material management requirements.

Candidates must possess the following knowledge, skills, and experience:

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
• Seven (7)+ years of full-time professional experience in procurement, logistics, inventory management, or material coordination.
• Experience with inventory databases and DD-1149 generation and processing.
• Experience tracking Government-furnished equipment and materials.
• Knowledge of shipping, receiving, warehousing, and inventory control processes.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Active Secret Clearance required at time of hire.

Preferred experience and skills:

• Experience supporting U.S. Navy or DoD logistics operations.
• Familiarity with international shipping requirements and Customs documentation.
• Experience utilizing Government logistics and inventory management systems.
