HVAC Technician

Your Impact We are seeking an Experienced HVAC Technician to service and repair commercial HVAC equipment on telecom shelters located on cell tower sites. This is a fast‑paced, rewarding job best suited for responsible, self‑directed, highly motivated individuals who are willing to travel and eager to learn and grow in the telecom industry. This is a regional position; candidates should reside in the Sacramento, California area. Core Responsibilities Maintain cooling systems, diagnosing, troubleshooting, repairing, installing, or replacing components of entire systems. Conduct performance checks and perform regular maintenance on HVAC equipment. Perform maintenance or upgrades to out‑of‑season HVAC equipment. Respond to service calls promptly, including emergency call‑out services. Complete daily work reports accurately and timely. Operate and maintain a motor vehicle safely and legally in accordance with company policy and insurance requirements. Specific duties may vary or evolve over time based on business and client needs. Core Experience & Qualifications Must be Level2 or Universal EPA Certified (Required). 3+ years of HVAC maintenance experience (commercial preferred). Basic knowledge of electronic, mechanical, and electrical components, including refrigeration systems. Effective verbal and written communication skills. Additional requirements: Must reside in the Sacramento, California area. Available for after‑hours and weekend call‑outs on occasion. Extensive daily travel with an independent work structure. Occasional overnight stays (company pays all travel costs and provides per diem). Driving to remote work sites as needed. Exposure to ambient temperatures while working outdoors. Ability to lift and move equipment up to 50 pounds. Must pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical. Compensation $30.00–$38.00 hourly, DOE. In addition to wages, employees may be eligible for performance and referral bonuses, production incentives, tool/equipment and fuel stipends, a company vehicle, per diem, and other applicable compensation.
