Employees enjoy a 401(k) with company match and recognition programs. Responsibilities As a buffet handler, you will perform the following tasks: Perform pre‑shift sidework. Become thoroughly familiar with all items on the buffet and means of preparation offered that day. Ensure the buffet is properly set up and cleaned. Set up hot and cold stations, displaying food in an aesthetic manner. Maintain constant communication with kitchen to replenish all hot and cold food in an appetizing display. Apply “clean as you go” techniques by keeping buffet, kitchen, and serving area clean, neat, and supplied at all times. Decorate the buffet with seasonal decorations if necessary. Complete assigned side work and prepare the buffet for the following day. Act as host/hostess for guests, welcoming them to the buffet, explaining menu offerings, and answering any questions about breakfast or the hotel. Qualifications We are looking for candidates who are organized, detail‑oriented, and possess excellent communication skills. Previous experience in food service or hospitality is preferred. Compensation $18.00 - $20.15 per hour. Actual compensation packages are based on a wide array of factors unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, years and depth of experience, certifications and specific office location.
