Studio Manager

About the Role We’re hiring a sales‑focused General Manager to lead the studio, grow revenue, and build a high‑performing team. The GM leads and manages the studio’s sales team and day‑to‑day operations to drive revenue, member retention, and excellent client experiences. You’ll set strategy, coach the team, manage KPIs, and partner with owners on marketing and community relationships. We hire first for leadership, personality, coachability, and relentless work ethic — proven sales experience is preferred but exceptional candidates without formal background will be considered. Responsibilities Oversee daily studio operations, staffing, and client experience. Lead or support 75% of first visits per day, train and coach the sales process. Contact new and existing leads through calls, texts and emails. Run weekly sales huddles, review KPI dashboards, and follow up on priority leads. Handle escalations, community outreach, B2B partnerships, and local events. Balance admin tasks (scheduling, payroll, reporting) with hands‑on sales leadership. Key Responsibilities Train and execute the studio sales strategy to meet revenue goals and growth objectives. Lead, train, mentor, and hold the sales team accountable; create a culture of coaching and improvement. Own client relationship management and retention strategies. Set clear targets, monitor performance, and implement corrective plans to hit KPIs. Drive local lead generation and community/B2B partnerships. Ensure compliance with company policies, ethical standards, and excellent customer service. Other duties as assigned by ownership. Success Metrics (examples) Monthly studio net revenue growth Monthly new memberships (e.g., X new memberships/month). Member retention rate and net revenue retention. Staff productivity and follow‑up activity levels. Monthly community events Qualifications 2+ years direct consumer sales experience and prior people‑management experience preferred; exceptional leaders without formal experience will be considered. Demonstrated track record of achieving sales targets; results‑driven mindset. Strong leadership, coaching, and team‑building skills; ability to inspire and hold people accountable. Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills. Proficiency with CRM systems and Microsoft Office (or willingness to learn). Reliable, organized, and persistent — we prioritize work ethic and coachability. Availability for studio hours including some weekends and evenings; please state consistent availability when applying.
