Operations and Sales Assistant

Help keep our family-owned screen printing and embroidery shop running smoothly and growing strong!
We're a small, tight-knit, family-owned business in Auburn specializing in custom screen printing and embroidery for local teams, businesses, events, and individuals. We take pride in quality work, fast turnarounds, and building great relationships with our customers and community. We're looking for a reliable, detail-oriented Operations and Sales Assistant to support our production and sales efforts. This is a hands-on role perfect for someone who enjoys variety, working closely with a small team, and seeing orders come to life from start to finish.

What you'll do

• Process online merch store orders accurately and efficiently, from intake to final fulfillment.
• Track and manage inventory of blanks, and finished goods to prevent shortages and keep production flowing.
• Assist with shipping and receiving processes: packing orders, preparing shipments, receiving deliveries, and checking in new stock.
• Work regularly on the computer for order entry, data tracking, emails, and basic reporting (strong basic computer skills are a big plus—think comfortable with spreadsheets, email, and simple software).
• Communicate effectively and proactively with the production team and sales team to ensure orders are completed on time, correctly, and to our high standards.
• Step in to help wherever needed in our small shop—whether it's double-checking details, answering customer questions, or supporting the production team on large jobs.

What we're looking for
Required

• Reliable and detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
• Comfortable working on a computer daily for order processing, inventory tracking, and team communication.
• Good communication skills to coordinate clearly between sales, customers and production teams.
• Ability to multitask in a small, fast-paced shop environment.
• Positive attitude, team player mindset, and pride in getting things done right.
• High school diploma or equivalent.

Preferred

• Previous experience in order processing, inventory management, shipping/receiving, or customer support (retail, manufacturing, or small business a plus).
• Familiarity with basic office software (e.g., Excel/Google Sheets, email, simple order systems).
• Experience or interest in apparel, printing, embroidery, or custom products.
• Local to the Auburn/Lewiston area—bonus if you're already part of the community!
