Job Description As a Security Officer Unarmed Alarm Response in West Palm Beach, FL , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a financial institution location, you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, and maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents. You will support access control, respond to alarms and incidents, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $17.00 / Hour Job Schedule: DayTimeThur04:00 PM - 12:00 AMFri04:00 PM - 12:00 AMSat04:00 PM - 12:00 AMSun04:00 PM - 12:00 AM What You'll Do: Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and vendors at a financial institution by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate. Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter to help identify and report unusual activity or potential hazards. Monitor access points and visitor activity in accordance with site procedures, assisting with the orderly flow of authorized personnel and guests. Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; document observations and notify appropriate site contacts and/or emergency services as directed. Maintain accurate activity logs, incident reports, and patrol documentation in accordance with Allied Universal and site-specific requirements. Minimum Requirements: Have at least 2 years of security-related experience. Customer service experience is preferred. Alarm panel experience is preferred. Access control and badge experience is preferred. Guard card is required. CPR and First Aid certification is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
