As a Screener in a fast-paced logistics and distribution location, you will help maintain a secure environment by screening personnel, packages, and materials, monitoring access points, and reporting security-related concerns. You will provide professional customer service, communicate clearly with team members, and support smooth operations. Position Type: Part Time Pay Rate: $15.24 / Hour Job Schedule: DayTimeWed02:00 AM - 10:00 AMThur02:00 AM - 10:00 AM What You'll Do: Provide customer service to employees, drivers, visitors, and/or contractors by carrying out site-specific screening procedures, policies, and emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location. Screen individuals, packages, and/or personal property entering or leaving the facility in accordance with established site procedures; report prohibited items, irregularities, and policy concerns to appropriate personnel. Monitor access points, delivery areas, and screening equipment, maintaining awareness of activity and documenting required information accurately. Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following site protocols and contacting appropriate personnel as needed. Conduct regular and random patrols around the business, perimeter, loading areas, and parking areas; working environments and conditions may vary by client site. Minimum Requirements: At least 1 year of security-related experience is required. Access control and badge experience is preferred. X-ray screening experience is preferred. A guard card or license is required. Customer service experience is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
