Finish / Punch List Carpenter (Growth into Superintendent Role)

What You’ll Do

• Complete punch list items on multi-family and commercial construction projects with a high level of quality and efficiency
• Perform finish carpentry work including trim, doors, hardware, cabinetry, blocking, and detailed repairs
• Inspect completed work, identify deficiencies, and take initiative to correct issues
• Read and interpret blueprints and plans to ensure accurate execution
• Collaborate with project managers and other trades to drive projects toward completion
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized job site
• Communicate progress, challenges, and solutions clearly and professionally

What We’re Looking For

• 5+ years of experience in finish carpentry (commercial or multi-family preferred)
• Strong experience completing punch list work
• Skilled in trim, doors, hardware, cabinetry, and framing basics
• Ability to read blueprints and execute work independently
• Strong attention to detail and quality standards
• Proven reliability, accountability, and work ethic
• Leadership mindset — someone who wants to grow into managing projects and people
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation

Bonus Experience

• Tenant Improvement (TI) projects
• New construction apartment complexes
• Experience coordinating with multiple trades

Work Environment

Field-based role working on active construction sites throughout the Omaha area. You’ll be hands-on, working with tools, trades, and teams to bring projects across the finish line while maintaining safety and quality standards.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Omaha, NE.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $27.00 - $30.00/hr.
