Provide specialized speech therapy services to patients, assessing and treating communication and swallowing disorders. Collaborate with healthcare teams to deliver patient-centered care in a clinical setting. Responsibilities:
- Evaluate patients' speech, language, and cognitive-communication abilities.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
- Administer various therapies aimed at improving speech and swallowing functions.
- Document patient progress and adjust therapies as necessary.
- Educate patients and families on strategies to support communication goals.
- Maintain compliance with relevant regulations and facility policies.
- Hold a valid Speech Language Pathologist license or certification.
- Demonstrate proficiency in speech and language assessment tools.
- Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Have experience working with diverse patient populations.
- Be able to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
- Maintain current CPR and healthcare provider certifications.
